The unbounded sky belongs to all, but through the veil that are these trees, I limit it to a shape so that I can personalize it, and localize it to Pasadena, to this day, to this street, to this fleeting moment.
Now it’s evening. I am sitting in my balcony. That fleeting moment and the trees are long gone but the sky is still there.
I am vigorously aware of its unbounded presence.
