Silence IS

Silence is closer to us than the taste in our mouths. It lurks in the abyss of our souls. But do not be afraid of silence, for it is gentler than a grandmother’s touch, and more fragrant than a baby’s breath.

Silence is the voice of reason, voice of the stars; the voice of intelligence, the voice of music, the voice of the written word.

Silence has no voice. It does not exist yet it is the very essence of our existence.

Silence is always with us; forever unreachable. There is no journey to get to silence. It does not travel. It lies everywhere; its circumference is nowhere.

Silence is the voice of God - God speaks in silence.
