Be drunk

I stand tall, solid, and proud just like a bookshelf.

The books I carry though, Can’t be seen by the naked eye. They can’t be borrowed or read.

The books I carry, Cannot be thrown under the door, reduced to a door stopper.

The books I carry, Cannot be torn apart, or burned. They have become part of me, And they are my very beating heart. Their imaginative stories awaken only In the profound silence between the two beats of my heart.

To listen to the stories, One must be drunk. But drunk on what? Full and undivided attention!
