You can only surrender, meaning put all your shields down, if you are not a person anymore wearing the mask of say Dorotèa. Otherwise it does not make sense. If you still only know yourself as a person living on this planet who has been born to a certain family belonging to a certain nationality, then the shield is all you have to protect you from inevitable push and pull of life that you perceive, and that is totally fine. After all, we are all functioning in the field of thought conditioning, and that in its essence is protective and divisive. It is only interested in functioning with shields and frontiers around its own belief mechanisms that need to survive for its own continuity.
But if you decide that, at least for 5 minutes a day, you are not all that from the aforementioned paragraph, but you are an indescribable and utterly incomprehensible being, then your shield can be put down, because not only there will be nothing to protect yourself against, but there won’t be anyone here who’d need protection.
As long as there is a you here, God is illogical. If there is no you anymore, then God is irrelevant
