Know Thyself

Updated: Oct 27, 2019

The world is doing its best to make us just like everyone else. Celebrities, as if they do not already have enough money, are using their celebrity to promote their products to make more money, and as a byproduct they want to make us be like, look like, feel like, speak like, act like, respond like, think like, react like, eat like everyone else, so that they can keep selling us stuff and make even more money.

What if we were to not want or need anything? When we don’t want anything, we are dangerous to the current paradigm sentinels. We have to want something so that we can be sold things to.

We want to be healthy? The construct will sell us “organic” food and fitness products. We want to be just like one of those celebrities? Diet ideas and weight loss formulas are right there waiting for us to buy them. We want peace? There is a whole world of self-righteous groups we can belong to. If not, wars will keep coming to meet our wants and needs to want and need peace. We want justice? There is plenty of injustice to go around. Our wants and needs to want or need justice will be met for a along time. We want war? There is plenty of weapons to sell. Etc... there is always something out there to help us strengthen our imaginary sense of self.

No one says if you want to be healthy in mind and body, find out what’s true!

What if we wanted to know what was really true. Wait a minute... what? What can be sold to someone who wants truth? Nothing! No thing!

Truth doesn’t need to be sold. Truth doesn’t depend on approval or more research. Truth doesn’t need more spectacular pictures of solar systems and galaxies in the outer space or more laboratories to dissect frogs in. Truth certainly doesn't need more churches and temples.

Truth lies calmly, patiently, and undisturbed at the bottom of the no-thingness of all things. To see the truth of who we really are, we have to eliminate all the information - organic and inorganic, the war and the peace, the good and the bad. It’s all only information we are feeding our ever unsatisfied egos with; ideas and concepts that are only relative, not true. We must loosen our grip with the world of relativity, the world of pictures and sound bites in order to see what really is.

But who would we be in this world when our identification with things are gone? We would be no one! We’d be truth.
